Fern Garden

The Fern Garden is located behind the old community cannery. This was the original cannery in Union County where locals could come and have their items preserved in a time before refrigeration. There is a stacked rock wall behind the cannery and this area stays nice and cool with moisture year-round. You’ll find a very diverse mix of ferns here that are maintained by our volunteers. There are labels next to each that describe them in detail.
