Volunteerism
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at GMREC. There are wonderful ethnobotanical gardens and many educational events where our volunteers impart their expertise, time, and talents. Our volunteers help make this place special.
As part of the University of Georgia, all prospective volunteers must complete annual training. There is a short form Code of Conduct that you will need to read and agree to. There is also a Risk Management module that covers how we represent ourselves and remain inclusive and respectful to anyone who comes on campus. Volunteers must meet with the superintendent and pass both trainings before joining the team.
Follow the link below to register. There are (4) fields with an asterisk are required: First Name, Last Name, Email, and Phone Number.
After registration, you will receive (2) emails with links to the mandatory trainings. Once these are completed, and you have met with the superintendent, you can join the team. Lets have some fun!
